Albert Baker died from wounds on 21st May, 1915 after having been brought back to the United Kingdom but as yet, there is no information, as to when and where he was wounded. The 3rd Middlesex battalion were part of 85 Brigade, 28th Division that had arrived in France in January, 1915 and had been in the line near Ypres since then and had seen action during the Second Battle of Ypres in April and May, 1915.
